Reception (Elm Class) Road Safety
EYFS enjoyed learning about road safety this week. They learnt what to look for when crossing a road and how to do this safely. We created our own zebra and pelican crossing to learn how to cross safely.
EYFS (Elm and Yew Class) Bug Hunt
This afternoon, EYFS (Elm and Yew Class) went on a bug hunt. The children loved finding lots of different insects. We found worm, woodlouse, slugs, beetles and even stag beetle larvae. The children used their magnifying glasses to find and identified the insects. 🐞 🐜 🐛 🕷️
Reception (Elm and Yew Class) Special Visitor
Last week, Elm and Yew Class (Reception) had a visit from Brian and his team at Guide Dogs. They learnt how animals can help us and help people in need. The children met ‘Becca’ who will soon be going off to completing her guide dog training. 🐶
Elm Class Athlete Visit

Elm and Yew Class (Reception) Wingham Trip
Last week, Elm and Yew Class had a very exciting day and went to see all of the animals at Wingham Wildlife Park. They had a brilliant day !
Elm Class Maths (Reception)
This week, in Elm Class (Reception) we have been practicing recognising numbers to 10. We had to find different representations of numbers in our outdoor area and write the corresponding digit on our number hunt sheet. Take a look at what we were doing!
