The Year 5 girls had a fantastic time during their visit to Highsted Grammar School, where they took part in a football event led by Year 9 sports leaders.
Throughout the session, the girls developed their skills in passing, shooting and teamwork, and even learned how to use a linesperson’s flags to help officiate matches. They also enjoyed participating in a mini 3-a-side tournament, which was great fun for everyone involved.
The afternoon ended on a high note, with four of the girls receiving footballs as awards for sportsmanship, most improved player, best defender/attacker, and overall player of the day.
Well done to all the girls for their enthusiasm and excellent effort!
